Chris Riser - Instructor

Chris came to GCC in 2004 after graduating from the Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA with an M.Div and a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling (MABC). Before attending seminary Chris was involved in youth work for fifteen years, nine of which he served as pastor to Jr. and Sr. High youth at Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Greg Pickle - Instructor

Greg has served as an elder and as Teaching Pastor at Crossway Bible Church since it began in 2014 as a church plant of Grace Community Church. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, he completed the Master of Divinity program at The Master’s Seminary, before spending five years in Maryville further preparing for vocational ministry, including the completion of the XL Ministries pastoral internship under Chris Riser. Greg is married with a son and three daughters. 

Nathan Simmons - Instructor/Administrator

Nathan is a graduate of the Shepherds Institute (class of 2013). He is married to Jennifer and has three lovely daughters. He supports his love for the local church by working as a pilot for a major U.S. airline.

Nathan received his Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary and is an ACBC certified counselor. He is a Ph.D. Student (OT) at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
